The project [Francisville Commeunity Greening Plan] is strengthened through collaboration with neighborhood organizations, civic groups, businesses, artists, and community partners who help support outreach, engagement, stewardship, and shared public life in our neighborhood.
We first want to acknowledge and thank St. Joseph's Preparatory School for acting as our fiscal sponsor. Without them, this would not be possible.
This page will continue evolving throughout the planning process as meetings, workshops, cultural mapping sessions, and community events take place across Francisville. Check back for updates, photographs, emerging ideas, and community-generated visioning work.
Early themes we are hearing:
More shade and trees
Beautiful gathering spaces
Spaces for children and families
Public art reflecting neighborhood history
Safer and more welcoming public spaces
Native planting and environmental sustainability
Seating and places to linger
Cleaner, better-maintained shared spaces
These themes will continue evolving as additional meetings, workshops, and surveys take place throughout the planning process.
